Send newsletters to boost sales in your online store

In the past, you’ve probably received several newsletters, but have you ever sent one yourself?

Newsletters may seem trivial to some. However, when a merchant sends a newsletter, it’s at that moment they understand the benefits of this simple communication. If newsletters didn’t bring in any sales, no one would send them! A customer appreciates being kept informed by the companies they like. If the message is clear, relevant, and not repetitive, your subscribers will remain subscribed and receptive to your communications.

Understanding and knowing how to stay in the customer’s mind

To ensure your customers buy and come back, you obviously need to put yourself in their shoes. Does your customer think about you every day? Will they spontaneously visit your online store every week to see what’s new? Do they talk about your latest promotions to their friends to share their pleasure?

Maybe… or maybe not! If you’re lucky, you have engaged customers who love your brand and cherish it to the point of thinking about it in the morning on their way to work, taking photos to share their love for your products.

However, the majority of your customers, even if they enjoyed their experience with your product, will have other things on their mind, especially during the holiday season, when everyone is busy and doesn’t have time to search for the perfect gift!

Deploy the charms

This is where the newsletter comes into play. The newsletter has various functions, or “charms,” if you will. One of its primary charms is being available on the Panierdachat solution, but in addition to that…

  • It reminds your customers of your existence
  • It informs your customers about current and upcoming promotions
  • It provides a preview of new products
  • It invites them to visit your store to buy gifts

In short, the newsletter reminds your customers that you continue to be active, produce new products, and create promotions. Just like when someone searches for your business and finds an up-to-date website, active social networks, this is reassuring for your clientele.

So the key takeaway: maintaining good communication with your clientele is important!

Happy holidays and good sales!
