Stockholm Theme: A Clean Template for Your Online Store

We are proud to present our new creation: Stockholm

The creation of the new e-commerce template took us a few months of work. However, you will be amazed by the new capabilities of this template.

While visually appealing, we have focused the look of the online store on the great purification of elements to achieve a simple and extremely well-balanced graphical structure.

What a merchant seeks above all is a visual structure that allows them to be taken seriously and appear “larger than life” to their own customers.

It is now possible to create your own header and footer navigation from the administration system. This gives greater latitude in customizing our e-commerce templates.

Tools Used

Prototyping

We work on the design of our Panierdachat e-commerce templates with the new Adobe tool, Adobe XD. This tool is very flexible, allowing the addition of several “canvases” without loss of software speed compared to Adobe Photoshop, which has continued to slow down in recent years. Finally, here, it’s the problem of our graphic designers! 😉

A Clean Design for the Online Store

The focus and look of the new e-commerce template have been on the simplicity of design. The use is simple and intuitive for the visitor; they will easily find what they are looking for even if they just want to window shop. Because an online store also serves to bring customers into the store, a quality shell will surely attract the interest of your visitors!

Truly Well Adapted to Mobile

Promote the sales of our merchants with a high percentage of visits from mobile browsing. This is what we wanted to accomplish with this new template. Indeed, over 50% of visits to our merchants’ online stores are made with a mobile device. It is therefore essential that the layouts are built with a “mobile first” mindset.

Stock Photos for the Online Store

To build a complete and understandable visual mockup for management (who always has to approve everything!), photo banks are easy-to-access and inexpensive tools. Our choice fell on bigstockphoto.com and istockphoto.com. The two go hand in hand as they say!

New Features of the Stockholm Template

First of all, we wanted more. We wanted to do better and especially better than the competition! Since Panierdachat is the only 100% made in Quebec e-commerce solution, we had to push the envelope and exceed expectations in achieving results.

Navigation

We worked long on this new feature, and it is now possible to create your own navigation hierarchy in the header and footer. It is even possible to create sub-menus!

A New Search

One of the most important parts of an online store: The search is now emphasized with sorted and relevant results.

Displaying Categories on the Homepage

As a major novelty, displaying categories on the homepage of the online store is done via a new type of “carousel”. It is interactive by clicking on the categories.
